 As more and more of friends get married and involved in serious relationships, we are frequently hearing “what is it like to be married.” The answer is simple: Being married transformed our already strong relationship into something even better and even stronger. While prior to the wedding it seems like just words, once you recite those vows and place rings on each other’s hand, two become one in heart and soul. Love grows stronger. Love grows deeper. It is impossible to describe the miracle that transforms your life forever with those simple words:

| Casey and Alexis met in 2002 in the ping pong room
of our dorm (Virginia-Snider) at SMU.
They can’t say it was love at first sight,
but it didn’t take long to realize how
much better life would be together and they became a couple on April 30, 2003.
Three years later (to the day) Casey proposed.
The wedding took place on September
2, 2006 at Alexis’ home church.
